3. Admission Requirements
Undergraduate (LLB with Foundation Year if needed)
- UCAS Tariff: 64 points (e.g., A‑levels CC–DDE)
- GCSE English Language at grade C/4 (or equivalent) required
Non-standard routes:
- Professional experience (≥ 2 years in management or people/process-related roles) + interview and reference can substitute qualifications
Postgraduate (LPC, MA, LLM)
- LPC, MA Law, MA Law (SQE1): 2:1 in a qualifying law degree or 2:1 in other degree + law conversion + IELTS 6.5 overall (min 6.0 in components)
- LLM: 2:2 UK bachelor’s (any subject) + IELTS 6.5 (6.0 min)
4. Admission Procedure
a) Undergraduate (via UCAS)
- Apply online through UCAS by final deadline – selecting ULaw as one of up to five choices
- Submit qualifications, personal details, reference, and personal statement
- Note: from 2026 UCAS replaces the traditional personal statement with structured questions
- ULaw reviews qualifications + statement, may require interview
- Offers are made: unconditional or conditional (e.g., meet tariff points and English requirements)
- Accept offer, fulfil conditions, then enrol
b) Postgraduate
- Apply directly via the ULaw website
- Provide academic transcripts, proof of English proficiency (if required), references
- For programmes like LPC or MA (SQE1), also require law degree or conversion course results
- Offers may be conditional (academic results pending)
c) International Students
- Must meet English language standards (IELTS, PTE, TOEFL accepted)
- Apply for a Student Visa, follow ULaw’s CAS process

- Undergraduate tuition: ~£9,250/year for UK/EU and ~£13,750/year for international students
